Harold W. Mcgraw III has been chairman of the board of The McGraw-Hill Companies since 2000 and president and chief executive officer since 1998. He was president and chief operating officer from 1993 to 1998.
He is a director of ConocoPhillips and is chairman of both the Emergency Committee for American Trade and The Business Roundtable's International Trade and Investment Task Force. He is a member of the Business Council. He also served on President George W. Bush's Transition Advisory Committee on Trade. He is a member of the Carnegie Hall Board of Trustees. He is chairman of the National Council on Economic Education and the National Actors Theatre. He also serves on the boards of The New York Public Library and the National Academy Foundation. McGraw has been a UTC director since 2003. |
