Harry A. Woods, Jr. has been with Crowe & Dunlevy for more than 35 years, and he is a shareholder and director of the firm. His practice focuses on civil litigation, including complex business litigation, commercial litigation, and products liability defense. Mr. Woods also has extensive experience with insurance bad faith defense, tort and contract litigation, financial fraud litigation, accounting malpractice, class actions, Civil RICO, NASD arbitrations, horse racing industry litigation and administrative law proceedings, and Indian Law and Gaming litigation and administrative proceedings. He has extensive trial experience. For more than 20 years, he has been listed in the commercial litigation section of Best Lawyers in America (Woodward/White). A member of the Oklahoma Bar Association for more than 30 years, Mr. Woods has served the organization in several capacities, including President during its centennial year, 2004. He has been honored with several OBA awards including the Neil E. Bogan Professionalism Award and two Golden Gavel Awards. The Oklahoma Bar Foundation awarded him its Outstanding Service Award. Mr. Woods is a charter member and past president of the Ruth Bader Ginsburg American Inn of Court. In 2002, the Inn awarded the John Shipp Award for Professionalism to him. He is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and a member of the American Law Institute. Mr. Woods has served as an adjunct professor at the OCU Law School. He served as a co-planner and as the moderator for the First Annual John Shipp Memorial Symposium on Professionalism and Civility (1999). He has participated as chair or faculty member on numerous CLE programs, including programs on business litigation, securities litigation, Civil RICO, products liability, class actions, depositions, ethics and professionalism. |
