Harry White is a consulting partner of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. His practice involves international transactions of all kinds, real estate investment trusts and leveraged leasing. He has lectured on real estate taxation and international taxation at various programs of the Practicing Law Institute, the National Association of REITs (NAREIT) and the New York Law Journal. His articles on real estate taxation and international taxation have appeared in several Practicing Law Institute publications.
Mr. White is a graduate of Georgetown University, where he earned his B.S.F.S., and Columbia University, where he was an editor of the Columbia Law Review. He has served on the Executive Committee of the Section of International Law and Practice of the New York State Bar Association (Chair, Committee on Taxation, 1988-1991) and the Executive Committee of the Section of Taxation of the New York State Bar Association (1986-88).
Mr. White is a founder of the New York Committee of Realty Trusts Tax Lawyers, a past member of the Executive Committee of NAREIT, and the author of the chapters dealing with REITs in several treatises. |
