Harry L. Alverson is a Managing Director responsible for investor relations and fundraising. He is based in Washington, DC.
Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Alverson was a Vice President in the Global Asset Management Group of Chase Manhattan Bank. Based in New York, he was responsible for Chase's European and Middle East institutional and private corporate investment clients. Previously, Mr. Alverson was responsible for the Middle East Corporate Finance Group of Bankers Trust Company based in London, concentrating on acquisition financing and cross border advisory work. He also started Bankers Trust's Energy Merchant Bank, with responsibility for Central Europe and the Middle East.
He serves on the Board of Directors of the Arab Bankers Association of North America and is a founding member of the US Qatar Business Council.
Mr. Alverson is a graduate of Skidmore College and received his M.B.A. from the Wharton Graduate School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
