Harry O. Cook is a Capital Member of the Real Estate and Commercial Financing Practice Group. He is member of the Firm's Policy Committee and Chairman of the Hospitality Industry Practice Area. Mr. Cook is President of MV Sports International, Inc., an affiliate of the firm engaged in the representation of professional athletes.
Practice and Experience
Over the years Mr. Cook has been involved in all aspects of real estate including: resort development, structuring of acquisitions, the permitting process at the federal and local level, structuring real estate joint ventures, planning timeshare condominium, single-family and lot development programs, creation of protective covenants for resort communities, financing for acquisitions and construction, including AFICA bond offerings, and preparation and negotiation of construction contracts. Mr. Cook has worked on conceptualizing and drafting a number of laws and regulations dealing with incentives for the development of the Tourism industry in Puerto Rico.
Education
Mr. Cook obtained a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in International Relations from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania in 1978. He obtained a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center in 1981.
Admissions
Admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia, he is a member of the Puerto Rico Governor's Council on Economic Productivity.

Mr. Cook was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico and is fluent in English and Spanish.
