Harvey D. Ellis, Jr. concentrates on appellate litigation in civil disputes, while consulting on a variety of trial litigation matters, particularly for appeal planning. His litigation experience has focused on litigation and procedural requirements and strategy, business disputes of numerous kinds, constitutional issues, and legal ethics. Mr. Ellis is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for appellate law. Mr. Ellis is co-author of two Oklahoma litigation procedural treatises: Ellis and Muchmore, Oklahoma Appellate Practice (Thomson/West) and Muchmore and Ellis, Oklahoma Civil Procedure Forms and Practice (LexisNexis). He has also authored a number of legal articles on Oklahoma appellate procedure. He was appointed by the Oklahoma Supreme Court in 1994 to serve on the Oklahoma Supreme Court Committee to assist in revising appellate procedural rules, and was also appointed a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association Civil Procedure Committee for three successive years, from 1994 through 1996. Mr. Ellis serves as Chairman of Crowe & Dunlevy�s Ethics Committee, which advises firm attorneys on a variety of issues concerning legal ethics and professional responsibility.
