Harvey Cosper has more than 30 years experience in both state and federal trial and appellate courts. He regularly represents hospitals, physicians, nurses, allied medical professionals, attorneys, accountants, medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies and their insurers.
Mr. Cosper counsels the firm's clients on a broad range of issues that arise in tort and insurance areas including:
Professional malpractice defense and risk management issues for hospitals, physicians, attorneys and other learned professionals
Personal injury, death and property damage claims
Products liability, workplace accidents, toxic torts and catastrophic claims
Insurance coverage disputes
Mr. Cosper frequently gives lectures and presentations on topics including risk management for professionals, substantive and procedural legal issues and practical aspects of defending tort litigation.
Mr. Cosper joined Parker Poe as a Partner in 2000 after practicing in a small specialty firm in Charlotte.
While at Wake Forest University, Mr. Cosper was a member of the Wake Forest Law Review.
