Harvey Kibel brings to Kibel Green more than 40 years of executive management, operations, and consulting experience. He is the Co-Founder and current Chairman of Kibel Green and a nationally recognized expert in the areas of turnarounds, Lean technology and capital raising. In addition, he is a major developer of industrial real estate. He has been the confidential, behind-the-scenes advisor to many top executives and owners of troubled companies.
Prior to establishing Kibel Green in 1984, Harvey was the CEO of ORI Industries, a major manufacturing and retail company that traded on the American Stock Exchange. He also served as the Senior Partner in charge of the Los Angeles general consulting practice for KPMG Peat Marwick, one of the world's largest international professional firms. He is a distinguished speaker and the author of two books on turnarounds and value creation. How To Turn Around A Financially Troubled Company was selected by The Library Journal as one of the top ten business books in 1982 and earned the "National Award of Excellence," which was presented to Harvey by President Reagan at a White House ceremony. The book has also been the basis for Small Business Administration seminars throughout the United States.
Harvey holds a BS from Columbia University and an MS from the University of Southern California, where he graduated at the top of his class. He is also a licensed real estate broker and Certified Public Accountant. |
