Harvey Goodman, Operation and Program Supervisor Harvey Goodman, Operation and Program Supervisor, possesses an extensive background in both education and summer camping. He's presently a teacher in an ESE setting for children with varying degrees of disabilities. In summer camping, he has been a 15-year senior unit leader, assistant director, director of Project Adventure, (a ropes, zip line and fitness courses), coordinator of teen events and overnight trips, CIT director, and coordinator of age-appropriate activities for all levels. For the past 19 years, Harvey has been involved with the Tamarac Bulldogs, a special needs organization, Special Olympics, and the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation, which has given him the insight, courage, patience, and enthusiasm to advocate, teach and train the special needs population. He will bring to camp his life experiences, contributions, and knowledge of creating and managing beneficial programs for the special needs population and supervising camp staff at all levels. |
