Hassan Masoomzadeh is a Research Geophysicist in Veritas' Crawley center where he concentrates his time on Research and Data Processing.
Hassan started in the oil and gas industry 1995 and has gained extensive experience with land data processing, marine data processing and AVO analysis. Prior to joining Veritas in August 2006, Hassan worked for seven years at the National Iranian Oil Company as a Project Leader, responsible for seismic data processing, quality control, training and supervision.
Hassan received a BSc in Physics (1991) from the Amir Kabir University, Iran and a MSc in Geophysics (1995) from the University of Tehran, Iran and a PhD in Geophysics (2005) from the University of Cambridge, UK. His research in Cambridge was focused on developing processing techniques for wide-angle seismic data, including non-stretch moveout correction and processing in the tau-p domain.
Hassan is a member of the EAGE and SEG.
