Heather Hansche is a partner in the firm's Banking Department and is a member of the Consumer Financial Services and Bank Regulatory Group. Prior to joining Chapman and Cutler LLP in 1996, Ms. Hansche gained significant bank regulatory experience both as a staff attorney in the Division of Consumer and Community Affairs with the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C. and as in-house legal counsel for financial institutions including Household International, Continental Bank and Sears National Bank. Her experience includes consumer credit compliance including equal credit opportunity, truth-in-lending, fair credit reporting, electronic funds transfer, truth-in-savings and privacy. In addition, she has assisted clients in outsourcing arrangements, acquisitions, cobranding, joint ventures and federal regulatory issues including applications, notifications and examinations. |
