Ms. Raphael joined Greater Media in 1996 as Marketing Director of WRIF-FM in Detroit, Michigan. She was subsequently promoted to Director of Group Marketing for Greater Media Detroit, overseeing the combined marketing efforts for WRIF, WCSX and WMGC-FM. In January of 1999, she developed a non-traditional revenue department for WGRV-FM, which later became WMGC-FM. In January of 2005, Ms. Raphael was promoted to Director of Corporate Communications for Greater Media, Inc. She was named Vice President of Corporate Communications in February 2008. Ms. Raphael was recognized among the "50 Most Influential Women in Radio" by Radio Ink Magazine in 2006 and 2007. Ms. Raphael currently serves as President/Spokesperson of the Mentoring & Inspiring Women (MIW) Radio Group. In addition, she is a member of the Board of Trustees of Medaille College, located in Buffalo, New York. Ms. Raphael is also a current member and past Vice President of the Nashville Chapter of American Women in Radio & Television (AWRT). In 2002, she was named "Mentor of the Year" by the Monroe Children's Home in Nashville, Tennessee. Ms. Raphael received her Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from Medaille College in Buffalo, New York. |
