Henry D. Herr has served as a director of AmSurg since 1992. Mr. Herr served as Executive Vice President of Finance and Administration and Chief Financial Officer of Healthways, Inc. (NASDAQ: HWAY), a publicly traded disease management company, from February 1986 to October 2001 and has been serving as a director of Healthways since 1988. Mr. Herr is currently serving as a consultant to Healthways. At AmSurg, Mr. Herr served as Chief Financial Officer from April 1992 until September 1994 and as Secretary from April 1992 until December 1997.
