Hank Suelau, a member of the Business Department, practices law in three distinct areas. He represents business clients in general corporate matters and mergers and acquisitions, providing business counseling and transactional advice. He heads the immigration practice, which advises businesses on compliance with federal immigration law and obtains visas for executives, scientists, engineers and other professionals and employees. His clients range from start-up ventures requiring business and immigration advice to Fortune 500 corporations with global operations. For example, his group manages all of The Black & Decker Corporation's immigration needs. Mr. Suelau also represents public utilities, government entities and other clients before the Maryland Public Service Commission.
