UDT President and CEO Henry Fleches, runs his business the same way he lives his life, adhering to the philosophy, "do the right thing and then do things right." As a young man, Henry yearned to be in a position that would allow him to achieve a greater good. He also knew that the opportunity to do so would only come by taking on responsibility. And so, while studying to earn his BA in Business from renowned Florida International University, Henry and his childhood friend, Gerard Amaro, started up United Data Technologies (UDT) in 1995. As President and CEO of UDT, Henry is responsible for the strategic, technological, and financial direction of the organization, focusing on serving customers' needs in the present, while keeping an eye on developing and new technologies that will shape the industry's future. His ability to skillfully lead UDT has earned him the prestigious South Florida Business Journal's nomination for CEO of the Year, two years in a row. It has also made UDT one of the top ten fastest growing companies and one of the top Value Added Resellers in the state of Florida. With more than ten years experience in the IT industry, Henry maintains a strong commitment to providing each and every customer with excellent service. He also believes in fostering education and educational opportunities, and as such, generates UDT's regular contributions to local high school scholarship funds, along with endowments of refurbished technology equipment to schools and the local community for improved educational opportunities. After work, Henry enjoys spending time with his wife of six years, Madelaine, and their 4-year-old daughter, Kailynn, in addition to a variety of activities including scuba diving, fishing, and boating. |
