Henry Lloyd is a Managing Director at Athelera LLC. He joined in 2006 and is based in London. Henry Lloyd has worked in UK corporate finance for 20 years, specializing in public mergers and acquisitions. He spent five years at JPMorgan, where he worked as a Managing Director in the UK M&A team, before joining JPMorgan Cazenove in a similar role. He worked on a number of transactions in a variety of sectors, including the sale of RMC to Cemex, the white knight offer by Honeywell for Novar and the purchase of Omnetica from KKR on behalf of Kingston Communications. He also advised British Airways on its merger discussions with KLM, Havas on its attempted takeover of Tempus and Brazilian steel company CSN on its merger discussions with Corus. In addition, he has worked on a number of public-to-private transactions, including acting for the management team of Riverdeep. Prior to JPMorgan, Henry worked in the UK Investment Banking team at Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) following its acquisition of Barclays de Zoete Wedd (BZW). Whilst at CSFB, Henry�s transactions included acting for Wessex Water on its sale to Enron, for Sedgwick on its sale to Marsh & McLellan and for British Steel on its merger with Hoogovens to form Corus. At BZW, Henry worked on a wide range of transactions, including flotations, privatizations, M&A and capital market transactions (principally rights issues and convertibles).
