Henry founded FlowCardia in 2002 and served as CEO until March, 2004. Since that time, Henry has served as Chief Technical Officer for the Company. Prior to founding FlowCardia, Henry was Vice President of Research and Development at PercuSurge, Inc., a company developing pioneering cardiovascular distal protection devices, which was acquired by Medtronic in 2001. Earlier in his career, Henry was Vice President of Research and Development at Target Therapeutics (a manufacturer of interventional neuro-radiology devices which was acquired by Boston Scientific in 1997) and also held management positions with Baxter International's Cardiology Division, which was acquired by Guidant in 1995. Henry has been awarded with over 50 US patents, with several pending. He received his MSME and BS in Industrial Engineering from the Polytechnical University of Wroclaw, Poland. |
