Mr. Perten has over 30 years experience in the data acquisition field and is responsible for all technical issues within Startrak. Reporting to him are the embedded hardware, embedded software, mechanical design and IT groups. The holder of several patents, Mr. Perten led the development of StarTrak's LoadWeigh, and ride quality product lines as well as the architecture and implementation of the ReeferTrak Scout, Sentry and Commander product lines. Prior to joining StarTrak, he designed instrumentation for high energy physics as well as cardiac ultrasound and catheterization equipment. Mr. Perten holds a BSEE from The City College of New York and a MSEE from Polytechnic Institute of New York.
