Herb May has over 19 years of industry experience across equity sales & trading, equity syndicate, and capital markets. Prior to joining Signal Hill, Herb was a senior member of the Wachovia Securities Equity Capital Markets team. He served on the Equity Management Committee, and focused his time on the strategic direction of the over all equity business including recruiting, institutional and corporate client development, relationship management, and deal origination and execution. Mr. May began his career at Alex. Brown & Sons in 1987 as an Equity Sales Trader in New York, a group that he would run from 1995 through 2000, when he joined the Global Investment Banking Division of Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown as Head of Equity Syndicate. During his tenure at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown, Herb served on the North American Equity Management Committee, as well as the Equity Screening Committee, and the Equity Commitment Committee. Mr. May is a graduate of the Salisbury School in Salisbury, CT., where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees. He graduated from the University of Virginia in May of 1987 with a B.A. in History. He is co-founder and co-chairman of the Maryland Stallion Station, LLC, a thoroughbred stallion business in Maryland serving the regional and national market. |
