Dr. Eisen has been teaching and conducting research at the MIT Department of Biology and Center for Cancer Research since 1973. Since 1977, he has held multiple special appointments with the National Academy of Sciences and the National Cancer Institute. In 1997, he received the Behring-Heidelberger Award and was honored with a Lifetime Service Award by the American Association of Immunologists. He received his M.D. from New York University and an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Washington University in St. Louis. |
