Hilary M. Hansen is a government relations manager in the Washington, D.C., office. Hilary focuses her practice primarily on health policy and represents patient-advocacy nonprofits, health industry trade associations and medical device manufacturers. Her work includes assisting clients with grassroots and grasstops advocacy programs designed to engage members in legislative support, including Capitol Hill Days, where she trains the participants to effectively lobby their members of Congress. Hilary also specializes in planning advocacy strategies and building relationships between clients and Congress, and she frequently represents clients on Capitol Hill and at coalition meetings.
Prior to joining the firm, Hilary worked on Congressman Brad Carson�s 2004 Senate campaign in Oklahoma. Her legislative and political experience also includes work as a legislative assistant at the Washington lobbying firm Van Ness Feldman, P.C., where she provided government policy advice and representation on federal legislative and regulatory issues, with special emphasis on health care and transportation. Hilary also worked as an aide to Congressman Martin Frost (D-TX) from 1999-2000.
Hilary received her bachelor�s degree from Southern Methodist University.
