Hillel M. Bennett is an active member of Stroock�s Private Funds Group, representing private equity funds, real estate funds, hedge funds, funds of funds and seed funds as well as investors in private funds. His clients include both large institutional managers and independent managers. Mr. Bennett represents a variety of domestic and offshore funds, including several funds focused on investment in Europe and Asia. Mr. Bennett advises funds both as to their formation and as to ongoing regulatory, compensation and other matters.
Mr. Bennett has been involved in many other areas of Stroock�s corporate practice since joining the firm in 1983. He has represented numerous buyers and sellers in large and small private mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Mr. Bennett advises on a wide variety of other corporate matters, including the corporate aspects of real estate transaction, limited partnership agreements, limited liability company agreements and employment agreements.
