Hiram D. Ocariz, a founding partner in Ocariz, Gitlin & Zomerfeld, brings more than 25 years of experience to the firm as a Specialist in Foreign and Domestic Taxation, Tax Compliance for foreign and domestic corporations and individuals, and Business Valuation as it relates to mergers, acquisitions and the sales of companies.
Mr. Ocariz earned a Bachelor�s Degree in Business Administration from Florida International University in 1984 and received his State Accreditation as a Certified Public Accountant in 1987. He co-founded Ocariz, Gitlin & Zomerfeld with Mark Gitlin and Raymond Zomerfeld in 1989.
Mr. Ocariz is highly regarded for his work representing clients in construction, real estate development, logistics, wholesale and retail trades and professional services on matters of business valuation, government audits and claims for losses to insurance companies.
He currently serves as Vice President and Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Latin Builders Association and as a member of the Advisory Board for Executive National Bank.
