Homer's experience involves senior and subordinated credit agreements, multi-pricing euro-dollar agreements, multi-bank secured letters of credit, revolving and term loan credit facilities, construction loans, inventory, equipment and receivables financings, security agreements, and mortgages. He also has represented financial institutions in mortgage and asset based loans, economic development loans, affordable housing loans, workouts and loan restructurings.
As bond counsel and underwriters counsel, he has represented many state agencies and major underwriters in general obligation and revenue bond financings involving housing, transportation, water, education, health care, correctional facilities, utilities and industrial development projects. Homer also acts as purchaser's counsel for a large financial institution in connection with its purchase of single and multi-family housing bonds from various state issuers and as trustee counsel for municipal and international project financings.
Formerly a partner at one of the nation's 200 largest law firms, he served for 10 years on the New York State Banking Board and currently is a member of the New York City Economic Development Corporation Board. He has had articles published by the Practicing Law Institute, New York Law Journal and The Practical Lawyer and has been a speaker on Practicing Law Institute panels.
Homer is active in the community in both civic and political causes. |
