Howard Landers has over 26 years of experience in the capital markets industry. He held various management positions during his 10 years with Merrill Lynch from 1979 through 1989. At Merrill, he worked in the areas of operations, compliance, trading, and sales. Howard then managed the securities division of Transamerica Life Insurance Company for the South Florida region; the US securities division of Verein und Westbank, a German bank; and he was the co-founder of The Partners Financial Group, which he successfully sold. He was the CEO and majority shareholder of Coral Capital Group, Inc., a securities consulting firm where he was an advisor to various foreign banks and brokerage companies.
Howard also was a securities principal and member of the Board of Directors of Shochet Securities, Inc. At Shochet he established the firm's online trading operations and formed the firm's Registered Investment Advisory subsidiary, serving as it's registered principal.
Currently Howard is the CEO of 1st BridgeHouse Consulting, LLC, a firm that provides advice and regulatory services to broker-dealers, banks, credit unions, foreign institutions, and other capital market participants regarding capital market regulatory issues. He is also the President of 1st BridgeHouse Securities, an NASD member firm that acts as an investment banker in raising capital for medium to smaller target firms and in forming syndicates with other NASD member firms to place these transactions. Howard is currently licensed with the NASD as a General Securities Principal, a Registered Options Principal, a Municipal Securities Principal, a Financial and Operations Principal, a General Securities Representative, and is also registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as an Investment Advisor Representative. Howard is located in Coral Gables, Florida.
