Howard Nathan is the Chief Financial Officer of Lender Ltd. Howard also handles the Human Resources efforts for Lender Ltd.. Howard has been involved with the mortgage industry for over 12 years. From 1999 -2006, Howard was the Chief Financial Officer for Washtenaw Mortgage Company and Pelican Financial, Inc. Washtenaw Mortgage was primarily a wholesale lender that operated in 40 states and originated over $3.0 billion in one year. Pelican Financial, Inc. was a bank holding company for a Florida based community bank with offices located in the Naples and Fort Myers, Florida area. Both entities were publicly traded on the American Stock Exchange. Howard was responsible for all accounting, investor relations and financial reporting functions. In addition, he sat on the Board of Directors for both companies. From 1996-1998, Howard worked for Grant Thornton, one of the 10 largest public accounting firms in the United States. Howard worked in the audit department with an emphasis on auditing financial institutions including banks and mortgage companies. From 1992 - 1996, Howard was employed by Republic Bancorp and Republic Bancorp Mortgage in a variety of accounting and operational positions as part of their management training program. He received several promotions during his tenure and held the position of Controller for Republic Bancorp Mortgage during his final year with the company. Howard has a B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University where he graduated in 1991. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Michigan.
