Hua Du joined Rohm and Haas Company as China Manager of the company�s first Dongguan facility in January 1998. He was promoted to General Manager China in January 2000. His responsibility expanded in May 2001 when he took the additional role as the head of CBT business Hong Kong / China. He was promoted to CBT General Manager-Hong Kong and China in August 2004 and CBT General Manager-Asia in May 2005.
Hua Du received the added responsibility of Rohm and Haas China President in December 2007. As Rohm and Haas China President he is responsible for managing the company�s external relationships with the various levels of government. He is also participating in industry-wide associations as well as managing the company�s growing infrastructure investment in China.
He joined the Leadership Council in January 2008. He was also named Vice President in 2008.
Hua Du holds a Bachelor degree in Chemistry from Beijing University China and a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign IL USA.
He resides in Shenzhen China. |
