Humphrey brings tremendous R&D depth in multimedia processing, transport, storage, and QoS. Prior to joining Teak, Humphrey was co-founder and VP of Engineering at Exavio, a leader in SAN I/O acceleration products, where he was credited for building the award-winning ExaVault and ExaMax product lines. Previously Humphrey had served as Software Technical Lead at Cisco Systems and had contributed to the development of media processing elements for the Universal Broadband Router (uBR) product line including elements for converging data and video over IP networks. Prior to Cisco, Humphrey had served as Staff Engineer at Divicom and had developed system software for video multiplexing/encoding elements in products that won numerous innovation and product quality awards. Humphrey holds several patents, a Ph.D. from the University of Washington, MS from Texas A&M University, and BS form Chiao-Tong University, Taiwan, all in Electrical Engineering. |
