Mr. Hurley, entered the association management profession in 1963. He served for 19 years as the Executive Vice President of the National Club Association, where he worked with the directors and chief staff executives of 1,000 private clubs nationwide. He is a past chairman and member of the Greater Washington Society of Association Executives and its Foundation. He is a former director of the Foundation of the American Society of Association Executives, is a member of ASAE, and was certified in 1974. He is a seminar presenter for both organizations; he has authored articles for GWSAE's Executive Update and ASAE's Association Management.
