Ian Gaunt, senior vice president international for Carnival Corporation & plc, is based at Carnival�s London office where he has overall responsibility for management and supervision of the company�s newbuilding projects, acquisitions and various other ventures in Europe and the U.K.
Gaunt, also serves as liaison for Carnival�s interests and ventures in the European and British markets.
Prior to joining Carnival Gaunt was senior partner at Sinclair, Roche & Temperley, the London-based law firm responsible for negotiating all of Carnival�s shipbuilding contracts.
Gaunt earned his law degree from Cambridge University. He is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and Hong Kong, and is fluent in English, German, French, Italian and Mandarin Chinese.
