Iichiro Takahashi is a Vice President of Knox & Co. with primary focus in cross-border and domestic merger & acquisition transactions and restructuring projects of global conglomerates and major corporate groups. His previous assignments focused primarily in construction, retail, and technology industries but his transaction and restructuring experience includes a number of other industries as well. Representative transactions include advisory services he provided for Seiyo Food Systems in its sale of a nationwide restaurant chain business, for Fundo Construction Group in restructuring Merger & Acquisitions, for Opto Device Corporation in acquisitions of Yuasa Electronics Co., Ltd., and for Japanese Storage Battery in its sale of majority shares of a subsidiary. Prior to joining Knox & Co. in May 2005, Mr. Takahashi was in the investment banking group of Mitsubishi UFJ Securities in Tokyo. Prior to that he was with the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi which he joined in 1996, working as an account officer in two of the bank's branch offices in Tokyo. He was transferred to the Investment Banking group in 2001 and brings with him significant experience in corporate finance. Mr. Takahashi�s primary focus lies in restructuring projects. Mr. Takahashi is a graduate of Keio University where he received a B.A. in Environmental Information. In addition he holds Series 7 and 63 licenses. |
