Mr. Biran has served as a director of deltathree since December 2003. Mr. Biran brings a wealth of business and management experience from the telecom and defense industries. From January 2004 through July 2006, Mr. Biran served as the Chairman of YES Satellite Television, one of the leading satellite television companies in Israel. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Biran served as the President and CEO of Bezeq Ltd. - the Israeli PTT, with annual sales of over $2 billion and approximately 16,000 employees. Mr. Biran holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from Bar-Ilan University, and holds an Associate Diploma in Strategy and Political Economic Research from Georgetown University. He is also a graduate of the U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff College. In addition, Mr. Biran's public activities include: serving as the Israeli Prime Minister's Special Coordinator for POWs and MIAs, and since 1996, has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Israeli Oil Refineries, Ltd. |
