Ingo B. Theuerkauf was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Droplets, Inc. in January 2002, and oversees financial accounting and reporting, human resources, legal, administration, and international business development. Prior to assuming the CFO position, Mr. Theuerkauf was Chief Strategy Officer, overseeing corporate strategy and international expansion, and has been a board member and investor since March 2000.
Prior to joining Droplets, Mr. Theuerkauf managed IBT Ventures LLC, a New York based venture capital and advisory firm he founded in 1997, which led Droplets' financing rounds, and was an early investor in Bamboo.com (IPO 1999, merged with Internet Picture Corp.). Before founding IBT Ventures, he was Chief Executive Officer, President, and a Director of Preussag North America, Inc., a Greenwich, CT based financial holding and strategic investment unit for Preussag AG, then one of the largest German industrial conglomerates.
Until 1995, Mr. Theuerkauf was a Partner at McKinsey & Co., Inc., where he advised the top management of leading corporations in numerous industries both in Germany and the U.S. on maximizing shareholder value. He holds a degree in business administration, and a doctorate degree with highest distinction in mathematical statistics from the University of Hamburg in Germany. |
