Ira Goldstein came to the firm after being vice-president and general counsel of Metromedia, Inc. Over the years, both as corporate counsel and in private practice, he has handled acquisitions, dispositions and mergers of radio and television stations, outdoor advertising plants, cable television and other entities in the media business. He has also dealt with the operating problems of the media including talent, labor, production, insurance, sports licensing rights for teams and in arenas and personnel problems. He has spoken and written about media problems.
