C. Irvin Mcclelland is an officer and member of the firm's Board of Directors. He is a senior partner involved in the management of prosecution and processing of applications within the Electrical/Mechanical Practice Group of the firm and in the general management of administrative affairs within the firm.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. McClelland was an examiner in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and a patent advisor for the Office of Naval Research. He received his Law degree from the George Washington University in 1973 and his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Virginia Military Institute in 1955.
Mr. McClelland is admitted to the Bars of the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the Supreme Court of Virginia, and the Court of Appeals of Maryland. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. |
