Isaac Elnecave has been with NEEP since 2002, managing the Northeast Energy Efficiency Standards Project, which has succeeded in establishing energy efficiency standards in seven states throughout the region. He is also a manager with the NEEP Building Energy Codes Project where he works to improve the energy efficiency standards contained in the state building energy codes across the Northeast.
Prior to his work at NEEP, Isaac was a clean air policy analyst at the Michigan Environmental Council where he worked on cleaning up coal-fired power plants and encouraging the development of energy efficiency and renewable energy in the state. Isaac began his career as a structural engineer specializing in the retrofit of buildings prone to earthquake damage. |
