After earning her Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of Pennsylvania, she spent two years training at University of Maryland Medical Systems developing and offering genetic tests for the molecular diagnostic laboratory including a Ashkenazi Jewish panel. She was a fellow in the Genetic Disease Research Branch at the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for two years as well. Isabelle was the first full-time employee to be hired by John and Sherri at GeneDx, and started working with the company in 2001. Isabelle is responsible for supervising 7 technicians in the clinical laboratory, a nalyzing and interpreting sequence data, and adapting our growing company to accommodate our increasing needs to produce reliable and quick results to our clientele. |
