Jack has been involved in the application of speech recognition within the telephony environment literally since the market's inception. Having been involved with the first installations and deployments of speech services in both the wireless and ILEC environments he is considered to be both a pioneer and authority within the space. Jack is responsible for the proliferation of the Mobile Voice platform within the telephone carrier environment in North America.
Prior to joining the One Voice team Jack served as Vice President of Sales for Preferred Voice Inc.; a publicly traded company based in Dallas that designs speech recognition enhancements primarily for the wireless carrier environment. In his role at Preferred Voice he was instrumental in developing the company's sales and marketing plans and was responsible for building and servicing the company's carrier/partner base. Jack has spoken at numerous industry events published articles on speech-driven enhancements for telephony and has negotiated agreements with over fifty telephone carriers for speech recognition applications.
Before his work with Preferred Voice Jack held key positions in a number of entrepreneurial environments most recently with Espire a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier headquartered in Maryland. At Espire he was responsible for negotiating key telephony contacts for the company. Additionally Jack helped to create the sales methodology documentation and tracking systems for the multi-million dollar start-up.
Jack has extensive sales and marketing experience and a history of sales and sales management achievement within the start-up environment and particularly within telephony. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington. |
