Jack Juni, MD FACNP; Founder & Chief Technology Officer An internationally recognized nuclear physician and successful inventor, Dr. Juni received his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School. He served an internship and Internal Medicine residency at Georgetown University, and a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at the University of Michigan, where he was selected to serve as Chief Fellow. He is certified by the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, has been named a Fellow of the American College of Nuclear Physicians, and is listed in 'The Best Doctors in America'. Dr. Juni served as the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and as Co-director of Clinical Imaging at the University of Michigan, and as the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and Director of Positron Diagnostic Center at William Beaumont Hospital (one of the busiest Cardiology hospitals in the United States), prior to founding CardiArc. He has served as the President of the Michigan College of Nuclear Medicine, the Board of Governors of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, and as President of the Brain Imaging Council. Dr. Juni has been Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator on grants totaling over $2.75M, from sources including Bracco Diagnostics, Siemens, the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Cancer Institute, and the University of Michigan Cancer Center. Dr. Juni has authored over 300 publications and scientific presentations, including chapters in six textbooks, and has received over twenty 'best paper' awards. He is a director of the Academic Imaging Institute, and serves as an advisor to MedImage, Inc. He is the founder of Invention Technologies, which has licensed products to Mayo Clinic, and he has served as an advisor to GE Medical Systems, Siemens, Dupont/BMS, and Amersham. |
