Jackie Foss is the field services manager for Avista Utilities. She has been with the company for 33 years.
Jackie was born and raised in Spokane, Wash., and started with Avista as a file clerk. Since then she has been a customer service representative, receptionist, meter reader, outside serviceman and assistant supervisor of meter reading. As Avista�s field services manager since 1990, Jackie oversees the meter reading and billing departments. She has also been an integral part of Avista�s transition to automated meter reading in its Oregon and Idaho service territories.
Jackie finds her job at Avista challenging and rewarding. I enjoy the people I work with and the satisfaction of getting a job done on time, she says. Jackie also appreciates Avista�s support for employee involvement in the community. She has been a volunteer for Junior Achievement, the Sexual Assault and Family Trauma Response Center and Habitat for Humanity.
Away from work, Jackie enjoys traveling and hot weather. If I wasn�t at Avista, I�d like to be a tour guide, perhaps in Mexico or the Caribbean. She also likes spending time with her three daughters and granddaughter. |
