Jackson L. Hanson (Jack) is vice president of generation engineering and services
for Consumers Energy, the principal subsidiary of CMS Energy. He has overall responsibility for engineering, environmental, strategy and technical support for the utility�s generating units. He was named to this position in 2006.Hanson previously was plant business manager for Consumers Energy�s JH Campbell plant. Prior to that, Hanson was plant business manager for the company�s JR Whiting plant. He also served as chief of staff for the generation organization and has held leadership positions at the Palisades nuclear plant. During a break in service from 2000 to 2003, Hanson served in various senior management roles at Rocky Flats. Hanson has a master�s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and a bachelor�s degree in mechanical engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy. Hanson served as a U.S. Navy lieutenant for six years prior to joining Consumers Energy in 1983. |
