As General Manager of Vyyo Israel Ltd. and Vice President of Engineering , Jacob Kruk's primary focus is to leverage engineering talent, manage research and development teams, and maintain an environment of innovation and engineering excellence. Prior to joining Vyyo, Mr. Kruk was an independent consultant to the Israeli high-tech industry, with a particular focus on strategic development and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Mr. Kruk spent more than 20 years in communications, information technology and homeland security in the central military intelligence unit of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), rising to the rank of Colonel. During his final four years with the IDF, Mr. Kruk served as director of the Center of Technological Solutions, one of the largest, most complex technology organizations in the Defense Force. The Technological Solutions arm is responsible for researching, developing and securing the most advanced and most reliable solutions for the IDF, and for being a catalyst for the innovation within the organization. Mr. Kruk holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Tel Aviv University and an M.B.A. from Bar Ilan University in Israel. |
