Jacob Redd is an associate in Jones Waldo�s Corporate and Real Estate practice groups, working primarily in the areas of business organization and structuring, securities, mergers and acquisitions, general corporate and real estate law. His practice includes commercial and real estate transactions, forming and incorporating various entities, corporate governance and securities work for both private and public companies. Jake also has experience in a wide variety of corporate and regulatory matters relating to the communications industry. While in law school, Jake worked for the nation�s largest law firm devoted exclusively to representing communications and technology companies. He has assisted communications clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, joint ventures and equipment and property leases.
Jake was born in Utah, has lived in New York and Paris, France and studied for six months in Israel. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with honors, in 1999 and his Juris Doctorate in 2002, both from the University of Utah. He is a member of the Utah State Bar, the American Bar Association and the Federal Communications Bar Association. |
