Jacques Kerrest joined ntl in September 2004 as chief financial officer. He is responsible for all of ntl's financial activities including cash and credit management, capital budgeting, financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, tax, financial reporting, SEC and regulatory filings, accounting systems and controls, internal audit, bank relationships, financing and investor relations.

Jacques has over 30 years' experience of financial management in Europe and North America, and joined ntl from Equant, a leading provider of global IP and data services for business, where he was managing director and chief financial officer.
Before joining Equant in June 2003, Jacques was senior vice president and chief financial officer at Harte-Hanks Inc., a customer relationship management and business solutions company based in Texas. During his six-year tenure Jacques managed all financial aspects of the company, including corporate finance, accounting and control, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations.
Previously, Jacques served as chief financial officer of the Chancellor Broadcasting Corporation for two years, taking the company through an IPO and several rounds of public debt and bank financings. Before this, Jacques was chief financial officer of Positive Communications Inc., a company that he joined in 1993.
Between 1974 - 1990 Jacques held a number of positions with Chemical Bank in New York, Canada and London including a seven-year tenure as vice president of corporate finance where he was responsible for providing advice on financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and private placements of debt and equity.
Jacques holds a master's degree in International Management from the American Graduate School of International Management and an MBA from the Institut D'Etudes Politiques de Paris. |
