Since his discharge from the U.S. Army in 1957, Mr. Jurado has served only one company Electric Machinery Enterprises, Inc. (EME), a company acquired in 2004 by and now operating as a wholly owned subsidiary of EarthFirst. Beginning as an Electrician�s Apprentice, Mr. Jurado advanced to become President of the Company in 1977. Under his leadership, EME grew from approximately $1 million in annual sales to an industrial and commercial electrical contracting powerhouse with more than $90 million in sales during the commercial contracting boom in Florida in 1998. EME serves a wide range of industrial and commercial customers in the Caribbean, North America, Central America and South America. Projects include large electrical contracts involving power plants, airports, hospitals, waste treatment plants and convention centers. Mr. Jurado has served numerous professional, civic and charitable organizations, including as past President of the local chapter of the National Electrical Contractors� Association.
