James A. Conaway is recognized as an expert in computer science, with cutting edge cognizance of emerging technology. In his position at Lodging Hospitality Management, he is responsible for all aspects of information systems, programming and internet development and design for the entire company. In the years of emerging internet access, Conaway was a key member of the data network team at GTE. This group operated and controlled GTE's national data backbone in 24 states. Some of his major projects were with Dream Works, the State of Illinois, University of South Florida and the State of Ohio. The State of Ohio project was awarded the Bronze Award at GTE, which is the 3rd highest award given in the company.
