As a co-founder of Certica, Jim Lair envisioned a company whose sole focus was on helping organizations implement strategic, sustained improvements in the quality of their information. Lair brings over 40 years of information systems experience from government agencies, defense programs and Fortune 2000 corporations. In the past decade Lair has worked closely with organizations such as the U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the National Association of Securities Dealers to implement enterprise-wide data quality programs. Prior to founding Certica, Lair led data quality sales and business development for data warehousing leaders Prism Solutions, Ardent Software and Informix Corporation. In the mid-1990s, Lair joined data quality industry innovator QDB Solutions (later acquired by Prism Solutions), where he managed the Washington, DC-area office. |
