Tony Lobban was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Viking UK Gas Ltd in August 2006, following the acquisition of the Viking companies and the ScottishPower generation and production assets by UK Energy Systems Ltd. Prior to this appointment; he was the General Manager for Viking UK Gas Ltd during the period 2004-2006, managing the operational assets in North Yorkshire. Tony has 24 years of technical and managerial experience in the upstream oil and gas business in the UK, North America and Europe, including petroleum engineering, well servicing, new field development, well completions, project management and oil and gas production operations experience, predominantly with Amoco, BP Amoco and Nowsco Well Services. Between 1999 and 2002, Tony worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Manager in consulting, project management and service delivery management. Mr. Lobban has a BSc(Hons) in Petroleum Engineering from Imperial College, London. |
