James Schubilske was named assistant treasurer - Wisconsin Energy Corp. and We Energies in 2000. In these roles, Schubilske is responsible for long-range financial planning and managing revenue requirements for the company. Schubilske also provides senior management with financial forecasts, scenarios and models for a variety of special projects and corporate initiatives. He provides strategic planning and financial consultation to the executive team for major financial decisions such as company mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Schubilske also supports major financing initiatives which allow the company to meet long-term expansion and generation goals.
Schubilske joined the company in 1987 as a financial management analyst. Since then, he has held various positions in the Finance department, including senior analyst of revenue requirements and budgets, investor relations coordinator, and business consultant. Schubilske attended Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wis., where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration (cum laude) in 1987 and a Master of Business Administration degree in 1996. He is a past board member of the Marquette University Business Administration Alumni Association.
