James A. Asher, is a native Californian who has lived and worked in the Los Angeles-Pasadena area his entire life. He attended San Marino High School and Pasadena City College. Mr. Asher is President and co-owner of Al Asher & Sons, Inc., a seller of new and used construction and telecommunications equipment. Mr. Asher is also a board member of Al Asher & Sons, and a former board member of Asher Equipment, Alerco Corporation and Central Communications Corporation. Mr. Asher was a Founder and initial shareholder in American Business Bank. He realizes the important role a community bank plays in the development and support of the local economy. Mr. Asher brings sales and business development skills that provide an invaluable contribution to the bank. |
